Institute Innovation Council (IIC)

 

The Institute Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, Government of India, established to promote a vibrant culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education institutions. The council aims to inspire students and faculty members to think creatively, develop problem-solving abilities, and transform innovative ideas into practical solutions for societal and industrial challenges.

GSIMR is a proud member of the IIC network and actively supports the vision of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty. Through various activities such as workshops, expert talks, idea competitions, and innovation-driven programs, the institute encourages learners to explore creative thinking, design innovative solutions, and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

By promoting collaboration between academia, industry, and the start-up ecosystem, the IIC at GSIMR contributes to building a culture of innovation and prepares students to become responsible professionals, innovators, and future entrepreneurs.
